Dog Friendly
Maddi our cat is happy to welcome dogs as long as they are likely to be friendly with him. So not to cause possible problems between competing canines, we let only one guest at a time to bring up to two well-behaved dogs. So please check at the time of booking that we have not already booked a guest in with a dog at the time you are looking to stay.
Even though we let guests know when we have a dog staying you’ll be aware that not everyone likes dogs, so we ask that you don’t let your dog approach any other guests unless they encourage it.
If there are other guests staying we are unable to allow your dog into the dining room at breakfast. However, if you are the only people staying at the time we are happy to waive this rule.
We have a large hedged and fenced garden but can’t guarantee it is dog proof and you should be aware that there are often sheep or cows in the adjacent fields. Dog waste in the garden should be bagged and put in our outside bins.
There are local footpaths for taking your dog for a walk and places to visit where dogs are welcomed.
Should you have any particular question about bringing your dog please contact us as we hope to ensure your pet enjoys their stay as much as you do.
